On a half-abandoned trade station at the edge of a disputed star lane, a systems auditor finds evidence that the station’s traffic records have been rewritten for years. The lie points to a hidden route, a missing convoy, and a political arrangement that would rather stay buried than be explained. As factions close in, she has to decide whether the truth is worth breaking the station apart for.
