The Ferry House Ledger
When a retired bookseller takes over a cramped second-hand shop near Portsmouth Harbour, she finds an old ledger hidden inside a ferry timetable box. The names in it point to a string of local disappearances that were never properly joined up, and someone in the neighbourhood would rather the past stayed buried. She starts asking awkward questions, which is usually how trouble begins.
