When a meticulous copyeditor returns to Glasgow to help close a small independent publishing house, she finds herself working with the book designer who once made her leave the city in the first place. As deadlines tighten and the press fights to survive, they have to decide whether the manuscript, the business and the life they nearly had are worth revisiting. The romance grows out of shared work, old mistakes and the awkward fact that both of them still care more than they meant to.
