Mina Hart, a London audiobook producer with a talent for noticing what people leave unsaid, is sent to help save a failing independent bookshop in Bloomsbury by turning its backlist into a subscription audio project. The job becomes complicated when the shop’s owner, Daniel, is determined to keep the place exactly as it is, even if that means letting it quietly collapse.
