The Salt House at Pen Dinas
On the edge of Aberystwyth, a failing archivist inherits a narrow house that should not exist, built into the cliff where the old sea paths were cut away. Inside are rooms that remember previous owners, a stubborn local legend about doors in the rock, and a tide that seems to know his name. He starts by trying to catalogue the place and ends up having to decide what should be preserved, what should be left to rot, and who gets to keep a town's buried stories.
