The Salt Ledger
In a flooded border city where every debt is recorded in salt, a meticulous ledger-keeper discovers that the city’s numbers are being altered to erase entire families. To stop the collapse of the trade routes, she has to cross a chain of marsh kingdoms, follow the false accounts, and work with people she would rather not trust. The deeper she goes, the clearer it becomes that the flood is not natural and the ledger was never meant to balance.
