When a failing independent bookshop in Gloucester starts receiving books that were never ordered, the staff discover each one is tied to a local death that has not quite stayed buried. The shop’s oldest shelves seem to be keeping score, and something in the building wants the right stories put back in the right hands. As the arrivals become more personal, the boundary between memory, guilt and haunting begins to collapse.
