The Quiet Orbit
On a failing trade route at the edge of a fractured stellar republic, a cargo pilot discovers that a supposedly dead station is broadcasting a signal no one wants to hear. The signal points to a buried piece of infrastructure that could stabilise the region, or expose the people who profit from keeping it unstable. As rival fleets, civic committees and smug smugglers start circling, the pilot has to decide whether keeping the peace is worth telling the truth.
