When a Dublin copy editor inherits her late aunt’s half-finished guesthouse in a rain-soaked coastal town, she expects paperwork, mould, and a sensible amount of grief. Instead she finds the man who once helped her aunt keep the place afloat, and a property dispute that keeps forcing them into each other’s company. The house is falling apart, the town has opinions, and neither of them is as easy to dismiss as they first appear.
