In a near-future Chester, a woman cataloguing abandoned household objects for a city archive begins to notice that some items carry traces of the people who once owned them. As the archive prepares to digitise everything and discard the physical residue, she starts keeping back the objects that seem to remember too much. The work turns into a private argument about what gets preserved, what gets erased, and who decides.
