In a city where every book, message and memory fragment is catalogued to prevent social unrest, a damaged archive clerk discovers that some records have been quietly erased rather than preserved. When the missing entries begin to match people who are still alive, she is forced to choose between protecting the system that keeps the city functioning and exposing the lie beneath it. The deeper she goes, the more the archive starts to feel less like a library and more like a weapon.
