The Last Map of Lime Street

In post-war Liverpool, a railway clerk finds a hand-drawn map tucked inside a damaged parcel and is drawn into a search for a missing dockside accountant who seems to have vanished from every official record. As the city rebuilds around him, he follows clues through boarding houses, archives and half-forgotten streets, where the past keeps turning up in inconvenient places.
