Nathan May writes across horror and supernatural, with a particular interest in character, atmosphere, revision and the details that turn a manuscript into a finished book.
Writing gets interesting when the obvious choice stops working.

First draft
When a tidal village on the Devon coast starts losing more than just its shoreline, a local archivist is drawn into the history of a house that should have gone under years ago. The building keeps returning after each storm, a little more complete, and with it come the people who were never properly buried. The deeper she digs, the clearer it becomes that the house is not haunted so much as waiting.
