The Last Chapter Bookshop
When a careful, slightly overworked book formatter inherits a failing independent bookshop in Plymouth for one winter, she plans to tidy the place up, sell off the stock and get back to her real life. The arrangement becomes more complicated when the shop's infuriatingly patient local carpenter keeps turning up with practical fixes, and the bookshop starts drawing in the kind of people who treat ordinary afternoons as if they matter.
