In a coastal Welsh town where old storms leave behind objects that should not exist, seventeen-year-old Elin Vale helps catalogue the contents of a private archive built from washed-up things, broken promises, and names the sea has forgotten. When the archive begins returning lost memories to the wrong people, Elin has to find the source before her own past is taken apart and scattered through the town.
