The House at Low Tide
When Mara Venn returns to her childhood home on the Hampshire coast to clear it after her father's death, she finds rooms that seem to remember things she has spent years trying not to. The house is slowly being altered by the sea, by old family omissions, and by a set of letters that suggest her mother did not leave, but was kept out. As the tide rises, Mara has to decide whether the house is haunted by a person, a history, or something far less tidy.
