The Last Shelf Before Closing
Seventeen-year-old Mara spends her evenings shelving books in a Glasgow bookshop that is due to close at the end of the summer. When she finds a hidden set of notes tucked through a run of secondhand paperbacks, she becomes tangled in a quiet mystery that keeps leading back to the people she thought she already knew. As the shop’s final weeks slip away, Mara has to decide whether she is trying to save the bookshop, the story inside it, or her own place in the life she is about to leave behind.
