The Last Borrowed Book
Seventeen-year-old Niamh Keane works part-time in a fading public library in Derry and discovers that a missing book has been quietly shaping half the town's private arguments for years. When the library is threatened with closure, she starts tracing the book's path through old borrowing records, awkward lies and people who would rather leave the past on the shelf. What she finds forces her to decide whether keeping the library alive matters more than protecting the people who use it as a place to hide.
