The Cartographer of Small Failures

In a near-future Exeter where printed matter is quietly being replaced by adaptive digital formats, a proofreader discovers that certain books are changing their text after they leave the printer. As she follows the errors through indie presses, archives and a failing typesetting system, she begins to suspect the changes are not random at all. The novel asks what happens when a city’s stories start revising themselves.
