When a disgraced mapmaker discovers that the sea charts of an old kingdom are slowly rewriting themselves, she is dragged into a search for the missing coastline that once protected the realm. The journey turns into a race against a quiet, spreading magic that erases places, names, and the people who remember them. She has to decide whether to restore the world as it was, or leave room for the parts history tried to sand away.
