In a drowned coastal city where books are kept in sealed vaults and some memories can only be stored in ink, sixteen-year-old Nessa Byrne finds a catalog that should not exist. It points to a hidden library beneath the tide, where every borrowed story comes with a price. As the city’s record-keepers begin erasing people from the archives, Nessa has to decide whether saving the truth means losing the parts of herself that hold it.
