The Last Ledger of St. Finbar's
In 1890s Cork, a clerk at a private lending library finds a missing ledger that seems to tie a respectable merchant family to a long-buried death. As she follows the paper trail through bookshops, counting houses and back rooms, she learns that the past has been carefully edited, not forgotten. The deeper she goes, the more dangerous it becomes to decide who is lying and who is merely protecting what they can.
