The Last Borrower
When a rare-book librarian in Cork starts finding anonymous notes tucked into returned novels, she assumes it is a private joke. Then the notes begin naming things only someone inside the library should know, and a missing book turns out to be the least troubling thing in the building. As she follows the trail through catalogues, borrowers and old shelving records, she begins to suspect the library is hiding a long-buried lie.
