Behind the stories
James Murray writes across horror and supernatural, with a particular interest in character, atmosphere, revision and the details that turn a manuscript into a finished book.
Writing gets interesting when the obvious choice stops working.

When a small Dublin bookshop inherits a row house that should have been demolished years ago, the owner finds that the building keeps returning objects no one remembers losing: keys, photographs, funeral cards, and pages from books that were never printed. Each item seems to belong to someone the city has quietly forgotten, and the house is drawing those absences back into the living world.
