The Last Shelf in Bangor
When a small Bangor bookshop begins returning the wrong books to the wrong readers, Mara Venn notices that the errors are too precise to be accidental. Each swapped title seems to surface a private regret, and the shop’s inventory software insists everything is perfectly in order. As the misfiled books spread through the city, Mara has to decide whether the shop is repairing lost lives or quietly rewriting them.
