The Salt Orchard
When the old salt roads around a failing river town begin to reopen by themselves, Mara Vale discovers the land is being claimed by something that remembers every debt ever buried in it. To stop the town from being taken piece by piece, she has to work out why the dead orchard beneath the cliffs is still growing and what it wants in exchange for the missing years it has already taken.
