The Last Lending Room
In 1911, a widowed librarian in a small Welsh coastal town discovers that the quiet lending room she manages is being used to conceal a local dispute over land, debt and inheritance. As the town prepares for a contentious public sale, she is drawn into the lives of families who would rather keep their histories buried. What begins as a matter of books and records becomes a test of loyalty, memory and what a community is willing to lose.
