The Archive of Small Failures

In a near-future Leeds where personal data can be legally edited after death, a quiet book indexer is hired to clean up the digital remains of strangers. She discovers one deleted life that keeps resurfacing in the archive, along with evidence that someone has been altering the city’s memory of a long-closed housing block. The more she corrects the record, the less certain she becomes that the record was ever meant to be true.
