In a city where books are rationed, tracked, and quietly altered, a library clerk discovers that the missing pages are not an accident but part of a larger programme to edit public memory. When she starts keeping unauthorised copies, she becomes the sort of problem the system is built to erase. The work is as much about the cost of remembering as it is about the inconvenience of being right.
