The Winter Letter
In 1816, a Welsh widow returns to her brother’s coastal house in Aberdyfi, only to find it entangled with a London surveyor sent to settle a disputed inheritance. Their forced cooperation turns practical, then personal, as old loyalties and a buried family secret begin to surface. The sea, the weather and the narrow rules of respectability leave little room for either of them to pretend feelings are not changing.
