Seventeen-year-old Niamh Quigley spends most evenings shelving books in a Derry library that is due to lose funding and maybe half its soul along with it. When she finds a set of anonymous notes hidden in returned books, she starts tracing them back through the people who use the library, and the search begins to pull apart her own careful routine.
