When a meticulous library events organiser in Coventry is forced to share a small branch library with the infuriatingly charming man hired to run its failing audiobook room, their competing ideas about what readers want turn into a daily nuisance. As they work to save the building from cuts, old misunderstandings, misplaced bookmarks and one very public community event keep pushing them closer together. Neither of them is prepared for how much of the library, or each other, they will end up wanting to keep.
