When a Dublin library is threatened with closure, cataloguer Niamh Keane agrees to help rescue its most fragile collection, only to find herself working alongside the architect responsible for the building’s redevelopment plans. As they argue over what should be preserved, the library becomes the one place where both of them are forced to reconsider the lives they have arranged for themselves. What starts as a practical compromise turns into a slow, inconvenient attraction with very little respect for either of their plans.
