First draft
After her mother dies, Nia Parry returns to Aberystwyth to clear out a narrow terrace house that seems to have accumulated more silence than possessions. Among the ordinary things left behind are old letters, half-finished lists and a small box of sea salt that begins to unsettle what Nia thought she knew about her family. As she sorts the house room by room, she is forced to decide whether keeping the truth intact matters more than keeping the peace.
