When a London borough library is set to be closed and its overdue system quietly wiped, the librarian trying to save it discovers the man leading the digital migration is the ex she has spent four years avoiding. He is efficient, infuriating, and apparently the only person who can help her stop the closure without making the library into a sentimental campaign poster.
