When seventeen-year-old Mara Vale finds a map that redraws itself every night, she discovers it is charting places that should not exist, including a ruined city buried beneath her own home town. To stop the map from leading something ancient back into the world, she has to work out who made it, why it keeps changing, and what it is trying to erase.
