The Salt Between Us
In a coastal kingdom where salt can seal memories into glass, sixteen-year-old Nessa Vale makes a living sorting the dead into the right kind of forgetting. When her brother returns from the sea with someone else’s voice in his mouth, she discovers the glass archives are hiding a slow theft of identity that reaches into the royal court. To stop it, she has to decide whether some truths are worth breaking open, even if they can never be put back together neatly.
