The Quiet Orbit
On a failing orbital habitat above a storm-wracked Earth, a systems archivist discovers that the station's maintenance logs have been quietly altered for years. As pressure, politics and old loyalties tighten around her, she has to decide whether keeping the habitat stable matters more than telling the truth about why it is still up there. The story follows the people who live inside the machinery, where every repair has a human cost.
