When a rare book vanishes from a Swansea library archive, the disappearance looks petty until the man who borrowed it is found dead. Library assistant Nia Vale starts asking awkward questions and discovers the missing volume is tied to an old local case everyone would rather leave buried. The deeper she digs, the clearer it becomes that someone is still willing to kill to keep the past in its place.
