When a Newcastle copyeditor starts receiving annotated pages from a manuscript she has never seen, the notes begin to predict small but unsettling events in her own life. As she follows the trail back through an abandoned digital archive and a missing novelist, she realises the story may be rewriting the people around her as much as the page. The deeper she goes, the harder it becomes to tell whether she is uncovering a crime or helping to complete one.
