The Cartographer of Ash
When a river of ash begins to spread across a borderland valley, a reluctant mapmaker is forced to leave his archive and follow the distortion back to its source. His old charts no longer match the land, and every correction seems to make the region stranger, not safer. The journey drags him into a dispute between ruined settlements, a failing old road, and something that has been redrawing the world in secret.
