The Cartographer of Ash
When a coastal kingdom starts losing pieces of itself to a creeping ashfall that erases roads, names and borders, a disgraced mapmaker is forced to trace the damage before the whole realm is unmade. The journey pulls him through ruined harbours, half-forgotten forts and places that no longer agree on what they are called. Along the way, he learns that some maps do more than describe the world, they decide what survives.
