When a meticulous proofreader in Aberystwyth starts finding deliberate errors in a local publisher’s books, she assumes it is sabotage, not a warning. Then one of the editors connected to the press is found dead, and the mistakes begin to point toward a hidden manuscript no one admits exists. To solve it, she has to read the town, the books, and the people around her with the same suspicion.
