First draft
When a derelict Victorian terrace in Coventry is slated for demolition, a records clerk discovers that every family who has lived there has left behind the same missing room in the paperwork. As the house begins to alter itself around him, he realises the building is not haunted by a person but by the consequences of being forgotten. The deeper he digs, the more the house seems determined to keep its final resident.
