In a city built on black salt and old bargains, a disgraced mapmaker discovers that the streets are being quietly rewritten by a choir no one can see. As the dead begin to remember their names, she has to decide whether to preserve the city’s lies or help tear them open. The work is about memory, guilt and the cost of keeping a place intact when it was never honest to begin with.
