The Cartographer of Ash
When a burned border town begins to vanish from every map and memory, a cautious paper-cutter named Elin Vale is forced to follow the omissions into the old roads beneath the hills. She finds that the kingdom’s borders were built on a bargain no one now admits to making, and that the missing places are not gone so much as waiting to be claimed. The journey is part investigation, part reluctant pilgrimage, with too many damp inns and people who know more than they should.
