The Last Room at Rowan House
When a winter book group is snowed in at Rowan House, a small Highland guesthouse with too many locked doors and not enough patience, the temporary manager finds that one of the guests has vanished. The missing woman was carrying a notebook full of private complaints, old grievances and a few names that should probably have stayed unspoken. As the search drags on, the house begins to feel less like a refuge and more like a very tidy trap.
