First draft
In a future where public libraries store not only books but the recorded gaps in human memory, a quiet cataloguer in Canterbury discovers that someone has been deleting entire years from the archive. As the missing records begin to point back to her own life, she has to decide whether a damaged history is still worth preserving. The deeper she digs, the less certain she becomes that memory was ever meant to be trusted.
