The River House at Skelwith
In the winter after the Great War, a widowed mapmaker returns to a crumbling house beside the River Skelwith to settle her brother’s estate and finds the place tied to a local dispute over land, memory and a long-buried disappearance. As neighbours close ranks and old loyalties shift, she has to decide whether truth will protect the living or simply ruin what is left of them.
