About Youngstown, Undercover (Ken Raybuck Crime, Spy, Thriller Series: Books 1-3)

La Cosa Nostra ran Youngstown for decades. It was the world Thomas Zorn returned to after leading kill missions in Vietnam. The search for Thomas drew his older brother, Randy, into the mafia’s world of drugs, murder and deceit. Going undercover in one of the worst prisons in America left Randy scarred, literally and figuratively. He had to prove himself to get inside, to become trusted by the Youngstown Mafia. He gained acceptance to the underworld, only to find out that there was no way back to what he once was. Many lives were torn apart by the influence of drugs and the mafia in this town, known as Bomb-City, USA. The lives of the entire Zorn family were tragically altered by the mafia’s domination at every level of Youngstown society. Chuck, a banker and the oldest of three brothers in the Zorn family, was anything but the big brother his siblings could look up to. He not only succumbed to gambling and bribes, he also enabled a new menace to flourish in Youngstown, the Russian Mafia. La Cosa Nostra was losing power and Ivan Lisenko, a Russian pakhan, took advantage of the opportunity. The prevalence of the mob’s control appears overwhelming as they take over the lives of the next generation in the Zorn family. Russian mobsters did not factor into account DEA’s Special Enforcement Unit. Randy Zorn’s former partners in the top secret SEU had one goal: eliminate the threat.
